*Power on the unit ...
*Press Menu when the HB splash screen appears ...
*Choose Simulator from the choices in the popup ...
Power down to stop Simulator ...

Is this what you mean by "Set Simulated Position" ...??
Or are you wanting to set the boat icon on a specific lake when starting the Simulator ...??

The latter.
*Open a chart view ...
*Activate the cursor with the 4 way cursor ...
*Move the cursor to the lake of your choice ...
*Press Menu twice to open the Main Menu System ...
*Cursor over to the Chart tab ...
*Cursor down to "Set Simulator Position" ...
*Cursor right to activate the command ...
Now every time Simulator is started ...it will start with the boat icon on your lake of choice ...
