Poverty Point?

I am here in Central Arkansas and I want to hit PP in the spring. Does anyone have any or can direct me to info on lodging and best areas to hit and what time?

I can't help on the areas to fish, as I've never had a lot of sucess there. Good rule of thumb there is to look for the boats, they will be where at least one fish has been caught. Or, figure out who BnMBob is and stalk him, he is very sucessful on the point; I may even send you a few $$$ if you plant a LoJack on his boat. :fish

If you plan to leave your boat in the water overnight, monitor the weather very well. It isn't a big body of water, but it is very open and can produce some big swells with very little wind.
