Hey guys, I'm an avid kayak bass fisherman and I live on Lake Darbonne. My papaw has finally succeeded in convincing me to chase white perch so I'm trying to figure some of this out. I noticed y'all are having a gathering around the corner from my house, I can just about hit the state park cabins with a rock! I look forward to reading the posts here and hopefully catching a few fish.

I definitely will if I can get off work early enough (I sell cars for a living) but at the least I'll paddle over and say hi.
Btw that channel out front of the park has been producing and I caught a few decent fish there last year. Attachment 218574

Honestly I haven't had much time to get out and I'm rigging a new kayak so it's been tough. I hope to get out this weekend for a while.

Welcome to the forum. I hope to see you Friday night, Saturday night, or both. Since we fish almost up until dark we don't eat very early so you might just get off work in time to have supper with us. I'm new to D'Arbonne my self. I bought a lot by the park this summer so I could come over camp and fish. Maybe I'll see some of the members on the lake fishing.
