grenada lake spillway

i wana take a trip to grenada lake to fish never have before i dont have a boat so im gonna bank fish im guessing the spillway should be my best bet since its such ahuge lake that targeting crappie and catfish would be best in the spillway right? can someone give me any pointers fishing the spillway or where the good spots are for good slab crappie and flatheads idc to catch major huge cats good 1 to 5 pounds is fine just wana make sure i catch stuff when i go thanks guys...

Kind of like boats on the lake, fish where the crowd is.

The spillway can be good and it can be bad. Just got to take your chance as everyone else does.
