I have some much needed free time this weekend and not sure where I want to fish. Any Suggestions...I haven't been out since June and have cabin fever.
Has anyone had any luck at one vs. the other. Either way its about the same drive for me.

Are you fishing out of a boat and what area do you usually fish at LOZ and Truman?
Ill be out of a boat. I usually fish the Gravois Arm at LOZ, or put in at Sterret creek marina, or bucksaw at truman. I don't really have any hotspots at either lake. It usually seems like I'm in the dark either way...just searching for timber or ledges on my graph or an MDC brush pile.
Suggestions?
The big crappie are biting at Truman but they are catching most of them up the grand end. I would try LOZ brush piles and dock. Hopefully someone out there can tell up what the water temperature is on LOZ. The crappie should be moving out of the deep and hitting the docks now. I will be headed up to the Shawnee Bend area next weekend. Let us know how you did.
