Is there such a thing anymore? It seems like most of the crappie fisherman on the lake have not heard of it. It seems as though they try to make as big a wake as possible when the go by.
Ohe well I get back down off my soap box and go back to fishing. But to you that just about three my dad out of the boat when you passed me I know how to make wakes also as you will soon see
We have all gone through this many times. Sometimes the guys think slowing down a little helps but they make bigger wakes than full speed. The problem is one that isn't going away because of more and more boats on our lakes. I guess we as fisherman will have to start seat-belts. :dono
Me & Bringingblood have a saying when we see the morons plowing by..."buckle up, little buddy".....Ronnie is right though, the problem is not going away. What kills me is when they wave like they are being a good neighbor.
I always slow to an idle before I go by someone if I'm within 50 yards. This guy was nose in the air 20 feet from me not once but twice. 2nd time he got an ear full. I am ashamed to say when we were done fishing I sought him out to return the favor

Ok what gets to me is when you get to the ramp and you have one blocked by someone doing an engine overhaul on the ramp, and the other is a guy prepping his boat to launch.
Can we all just do your repairs at home and rig your boat in the parking area?
It happened again today.
I've sped up my ramp time by getting the Ulterra I back down up hook the winch, back it into the water and jump out and set the anchor lock. Someone else can launch right behind me cuz the boat 50 feet from the ramp/dock. Gotta love the newest in Trollers
