Apologies for being late with this but, we had a good time overall. Arrived on Sunday, fished in the channel, caught potato chips. Monday..hurricane, went to Cabelas :biggrinfished from shore, out of the wind..caught a couple of dink perch..and then..two 10" perch!..nothing with me to keep, so put 'em back for tomorrow :pray..next day sadly only the dinks were left. Got a bunch of them tho'. Wed. was the same. Thurs., I caught 2 9" 'gills, yay, again that was the end of it. All-in-all was a good time. Perch came from knee deep water, fishing one foot down, 'gills came 4' down on the edge of the drop. Also, ran out of gas when I was putting the boat on the trailer :yikespulled it up by hand, and cranked it up a long way. Have been way busy since I got home. Rain coming, so covering the 5th wheel..got a new tarp..50ft 'er..heavy too. Went to fish this morning, damn DNR pulled the pier! Was not ready for that, no waders. Will try later in the week, maybe next. Till then.....
