Lake Tarpon ..see how bite is progressing.
Arrived Anderson Park - 6:45am, heavy mist -light rain - wind blowing about
15 - 18 mph.
Hung around ramp for about 1 hr, kept checking - weather on cell. Much, much
green - yellow -orange on weather commin in.
Took vote - said goodbye, will fish anoher day............
Headed back to Tarpon - Friday, October 30th, weather looking much better.
Will give it a try - take few pictures and report catch...........
Arrived Anderson Park Ramp, 7:30am (Lake Tarpon) Sea Fog lifted enough by
9:20 am to see more than 30 ft.

headed out to pre-fish Lake Tarpon for upcommin tournament on Nov. 21st.
Committed to Spider riggin all day.
Started NE part of lake 9 ft water 50 ft off reeds / cat tails.
Took to in 11" class right away - than 1 1/4 before next keepable hit.
Worked way down ne side of lake to Pierce Point - working 10 -11 - 12 -14' water,
doubling back on good takes -
Reached Pierce piont by 12:30PM - HAD 14 keepers in boat - 22 throw backs under
11 inches. Moved on down lake to Dolly Bay area - worked couple brush piles, put
6 more in well - threw back 3.
Moved toward Brooker Creek canal and brush piles, wind started picking up out
of NE - hard to stay on and around brush piles.............put 4 more in live well.
Called it a day at 3pm...............
24 total in well - biggest being 1 lb 5.5 oz...............couple 1 lb 2oz.
4 in 1 lb to 1 - 1 oz
Total throw backs 43 specks, 2 blue gils & 1 cat (approx 2 lbs)
Blue bird skies, no clouds , plenty of sun, sun and more sun.....
Moon/Ice jigs were hot takers - red - blue - yellow
Mylar jigs - white/orange collar - red/blue collar - green/drk green collar
Yellow wobble jigs.
Most keeper fish were taken in 8 - 9 ft down in 14ft water...............
Small fish taken deep and at 3 ft range...

With tite-loc 24 inch 10 rod-t-bar set up- can work a pattern of 2-18's, 4-16's & 4-14's
giving boat a width 40 foot.

Love her more and more each time out...Extremely well balanced and large enough
to move around in - no crowded feeling.
To me, she was well worth the time and patience put into getting her reburbished.
Still have couple more things that need to be added - but she is comming along.
Have already put 1,389 mi on hauling her around to various lakes since Sept 23rd,
when doctors said i could start fishing again.
