Depends on size jigs. Also New Age is just a name someone put on a bunch of colors, but it just chenille with crystal in it.
I would say #3 in most cases even down to a 1/32 oz. Still will need to double wrap probably 1/8 and for sure 1/4 oz heads!

Where is a good place to order some crystal marabou?
I take it you mean Chenille and not marabou because marabou is feathers, right? Crazy Angler has good prices on Chenille like New Age as does JS Flyfishing and Bob Marriott's and lots of other fly shops. I also sell some chenille to guys, but if interested in mine just PM or email me as we can not talk about that here. Still Crazy Angler has a lot of good stuff at good prices too!Quote:
