Toledo Bend results

Hello all, I havent posted on here in a while, but I had to share with you my 4 day trip to Toledo Bend. We only fished 2 days of the 4 and we didnt scratch on either day so Id say it was a pretty good trip! Especially being my first time there. Attachment 217245Attachment 217246Attachment 217247

Toledo Bend. I see why people say that once you fish that place, you wont want to freshwater fish anywheres else.

Friday we hooked up with a guide service since we had a large amount of people wanting to fish in the bachelor party group. Boy, we had a blast and ended up with about 90 nice sized sac a lait, a few yellow bass, some nice spotted bass, and even some catfish. We ended the day with a total of around 130 fish.

Saturday me, my cousin, and a buddy of ours took off in our buddies boat not really knowing where to fish since we had a broken transducer and no way to locate structure. So we bounced around the stump areas and when we caught a fish we just tried to replicate what we did. We ended up catching 20 sacs and a few cats. The picture attached is of one I caught on Saturday, and is a personal best for me. I didnt weigh or measure him, but he made a powerade bottle look tiny by comparison.


I will definitely be back there, and next time hopefully with a working fish finder. All in all, great 4 day weekend at TB.

Awesome! Come up to the gathering there last weekend in February and meet some of the gang. We ALWAYS have a good time, even when it snows!
