Lowrance to hummingbird
First of all I'm technology challenged. I have a memory card from a Lowrance electronics it was loaned t o me to transfer way points and so forth to my hummingbird. Problem is neither one of us know how to do it. Was wondering and hoping someone could help us out. Thanks

There is a way to do it, but I think you have to go through a couple of conversions from the Lowrance to a standard of some kind, then to a format for the HBs. I am reasonably literate on PCs, having worked with them my whole career, but it was too complicated for me to attempt. I gave up on the Insight charting features of the new Lowrances because it made my head hurt thinking about it.
There are some folks on here that can walk you through it.

Here is a recent thread with the same question

First of all, Lowrance Waypoints must be saved in a version 3 .usr or .gpx, not Version 4 or 5. Version 4 or 5 .usr files cannot be converted to any other file format. When saving them in Lowrance unit, you are offered the choice of which version to save them in. Once you have them save to your SD card, import the WaypointsRoutesTrails.usr into Humminbird PC, and it will be converted to .gpx format. Then cut and paste the converted waypoint list to the backed up waypoint list downloaded from your Humminbird unit, and reload the updated backup files into your Humminbird from the SD card. PM me if you need help......I just converted a Lowrance file with almost 1,000 WP's to Humminbird with no problems
