Just a little about myself. I'm new to this forum. I'm a new guide with a good name here in central texas. For my first year of guiding I've had over 40 trips with all happy customers. I fish three lakes, lake buchanan, lake austin and lake lbj for crappie. I joined this forum to educate the public on central texas crappie fishing and learn from others also.
I fished Lake austin today with my youngest boy Brayden (AKA) Perch and my buddy John. It was a short day with a lot of action. The bite was slow but the big girls were biting. John caught the lake record white crappie and I caught a black bass just shy of 10lbs. That's my personal best black bass. We ended the day with Attachment 216863[ATTACH=CONFIG]216864[/ATTACH20 keeper crappie up to 14 1/2 inches and one chanell catfish.
Water temp at 77.1 degrees this morning and under 8 mph winds. They were caught on brushpiles in 15-25 FOW. Good times with family and friends. I apologize I didn't get many pictures today.
