788 Sonar/GPS...Unit was working fine...then when got to next stop the screen looked like a TV test screen...and would not turn off? any ideas...Tried disconnecting power but same thing...:mad:

Issues such as these are often attributed to low or intermittent power supply ...
*Have the battery load tested ...
*Check all wiring for corrosion including the fuse and fuse holder ...
*Test the unit with a power cord direct to the battery (bypassing all boat wiring) ...
*Test the unit on someone else's boat ...
