I realize that this will be during duck season, so may not be enough people interested. Just wanted to give everyone a chance to compete on Conway when it is at its peak(first weekend of November, the 7th.) The bite should be right by then. Let me get a show of hands. Anyone interested. No maybes, please.
Or we could do it on Halloween if that is better

I believe that is the opening weekend of modern gun season. Last year I fished on opening weekend and I had a local lake nearly to myself. It was a great day of lip ripping.
Youth weekend for gun is the 7th/8th. Gun for adults opens on the 14th this year.
Weekend before the 7th is Crappie Masters at Grenada.
