What's up with Reelfoot ? Not hearing much about the fall fishing. Is it as bad as in the spring ?
The wind has blown from the northeast here for around a week and it has blown hard. 10-20 mph each day. I'm sure that has hampered any fishing efforts on Reelfoot.
Talked to a buddy that lives on the east side of the lake, he said they were starting to catch a few trolling late evenings when the wind calms up a bit. He actually caught a few blacks jigging some trees in five foot of water.
Water is getting low. Was going to go this weekend but the wind just would not calm down enough.

Low and not friendly right now. Should not be long.
