Hi folks,
I was handcrafting soft plastic Jelly Jig Tube Baits for myself today to catch crappie. These are two inch baits. What do you think?

Nice ship, them should put a few on ice
Lookin good!
Ship, this is engineering removal at it's best.
if you guys need the bodies give me a pm for making up those jelly jigs.
In order to make the "skirt" strands stay inside the jelly body ... you could pull the strands all the way through and remove them from the needle, then apply a dab of glue to them and pull them back into the jelly body. (just a thought)
Thanks for the idea, Ship .... now I know what I can do with some old plastic worms & spinnerbait skirts :woohoo
... cp :kewl

That will work Pappy. You can use cut pieces of old worms or get Snake River or me to make you some bodies. I pull four long strands doubled in the needle at once all the way through the body. Use cutters and snip the rubber away from the needle. Use locktite to attach the lure to a jighead. That also keeps the rubber legs from coming out.
also Mike you can pull everything through the body and snip it off even with the body and slide a jig head and glue it to the head we have been doing something a little bit different with them if we are going to do that method yes I pulled my material all the way through and leave a little bit so I can tie the material onto the jig head this way it will never come off if you guys would like some pictures of what I'm talking about please let me know and we will post them.
Nice jigs. Fish catchers for sure
