Harris 9-28-15
Went to Harris yesterday around 4. I got hammered by white perch but really big ones. Ended up going thru about 6 dozen minnows in 2 1/2 hours. If I fished in 12-15' of water they would hit anything and everything. Moved roughly 20 yards away in 17-20' of water and slammed the crappie. Probably caught 30-40 crappie (all released) but kept a 5 gallon bucket full of perch to fillet. Once I used all the minnows I threw the cast net and got some shiners since they were literally all around me. Used those on the perch too (no crappie). At first I had 4 poles out but had to go to 1 since I couldn't keep up with all of them bending to the fish and fight the wind. That was another thing. If I went in the cove to avoid the wind the fish wouldn't bite but if I stayed out in the wind the fish were going crazy. Sorry no pics this time, too busy catching fish, fighting the wind and rain.

Hockey86:
You are true to life "hard core" to brave the wind and rain.
Me and Jordan Limit also made it out Saturday on Jordan. Mostly searching different areas and did find a few areas with decent fish (12" thru 13").
Hopefully the Fall bite will be on soon.

I haven't been to Jordan all summer. I typically stay away from Jordan during the summer months because it gets so crowded plus Harris is much closer for me. As long as there's no lightning I find it hard not to go especially with the fishing being so good this year. Now that the crowd is starting to taper off I'll see you guys out on Jordan soon.
