to far SOUTH ??????

I posted this in the Mississippi forum,.the post got 121 view's and no , none ,nada, zilch , O, response's Grrrrrrrr....So i thought I would try to get some feed-back from My Cajun neighbor's here in the Louisiana Forum...here goes. I moved to the Picayune area last summer to stay close to my Kid's & Grandson.....Not being from around here I'm looking for someone to go crappie fishing with. I have my own Boat and can pay my own way....help with Gas,Bait,i prefer a jig's.
I have been known to sacrifice a shiner/Minnow, when they get lock-Jaw anyway. here's my # two5four-4eight5nine1nine8.
I can go just about any time and when it get's cold i'm with good with that too....as long as there is NO! Wind....Brrrrrrr

Hi Dan, I'm a little to far away to share some trips with you but I would think that there are fishermen in you area since you're not too far from the Pearl. Maybe you need to visit area boat ramps and strike up some conversation or at the local bait and tackle stores. Good luck.

Sounds like good advice to me, since I am from Oklahoma I am of no use to you on this.

I'm a little too far west to help you out on those waters but we have a few gatherings every year where you can put faces to names and we ALWAYS have BIG FUN! We are having one at Darbonne the 2nd weekend in November and one at Toledo the last weekend of February and I am trying to have on the last weekend (New Year's weekend) at Larto. This is a great way to meet the members on here. Come and join us at one of these or all 3!

howdy hi there just wanted to say thanks for the response to my post, looks like I'm on my own down here, wont be the 1st time.
I'm going to go and make up a flyer and post them in the bait shop's. I'm going to try and get to one of the camp's but Evan they are far away. :(

http://www.crappie.com/crappie/member.php?u=7356 live's close to ya. He mainly fishes the Pearl. He's young and with work and family I don't know how much he gets to fish.Send him a PM. I'll fish the Pearl sometimes, but it's hard not to stop at the Tic or Tchfuncate rivers on the way.

Wish you lived around here I would be glad to make a couple of trips with you.
