We did a sunrise launch, fished minnows and jigs, five to fifteen foot of water. Most fish were tight to the standing timber. Ended the day with 24 before noon. It sure was a nice day to be on the water.

Was catfishing here at home on the Illinois River but heading to Truman in couple days for some crappie fishing.
Sure nice to hear most are catching congrats.
Good report. I tried the shallow thing too, it didn't work for me. I found them on the Tebo arm in 30-35 feet in timber with multiple spreading branches. A few small ones but about 5 11" or greater.
