Fishing Report - Secession 9-23-15
As the saying goes, Any day is a good day for fishing and on very windy days the fishing may be a little harder but the fish will still bite. As was the day today on Secession. Very windy but when you could get the bait to the fish they would bite. Not the hottest bite I have seen but is was still fun to pull in some good crappie and even an old bass :)
Water temp is hanging right at 80 with most showing 78 degrees. Water is hard stained but it doesn't have any debris floating so I would say the water is just right :ThumbsUp
Jigs tipped with small minnows worked best with my Clark Hills Shiner jig working the best, here is a picture of it,

The bait is thick in places and most of the fish were holding close to the bottom but you did find some suspended half way in the water column and the depths of 12' to 20' worked the best today.
A few pics from the day.
