Went to church this morning, came home and checked weather. No rain predicted this afternoon, been a long time since we haven't had any afternoon rains and only a slight wind predicted.
Hooked up boat and took off about 2:30pm, ended up catching 17 and keeping 7. Attachment 214687

There ya go. nuttin wrong with that. 7 fish is my mark for a minimum meal around my house, and what I count when making bags of filets. Thats if we can keep a lid on the fact I am frying fish, which usually does not happen. Word spreads quick around my house when a bag of filets comes in from freezer. Already back to 1 bag of filets left in my freezer.
Nice catch, they look so dark compared to the fish I've been catching.
