That brisk 49 degree temp made for a chili eye watering boat ride this morning but boy did it feel good. 40w and I kept 18 and lost several. Bite was very light today and the fish were way more scattered than they have been. Just pick up one here and one there, no need in trying to camp out on a spot to wait on his buddies cause it wasn't gonna happen. Caught most our fish in stumps scattered on the flats and edge of the channel 3 to 5ft deep. 40w with a goodun early today with a buddy who tagged along in the background. For the ones that are follicley challenged as myself you'll surely understand this struggle. My straw hat is awesome at keeping the sun off my neck but holes in the weave on top leave it critically lacking in one strategic area. I now have a sun burn ring on top of my head. Go ahead, laugh it up.
