We put in at Berry Bend and fished flats in 20 ft of water 10 ft. down. Minnow was the ticket but you had to hold it still for a good 10 seconds to get them to hit it. We limited out in about 4 hours.

We are crossing the state line and going to fish Truman early next week.
I have not fished Truman or any other MO lakes before.
Guys tell me, "if you are not in the main channel, go slow".
I think we will be putting in at Bucksaw Marina.
Now that I'm retired, I'll have time to fish new waters.:fish

Good report. Pictures would have been even better. But it still counts in the Bobby Garland contest. Looking forward to the reports this month.
Up by Bucksaw it is wise to watch for the channel. Lake being at normal level should be able to tell where the trees are at water level. Good luck.
