Advice appreciated!
My family and I are planning a weekend camping trip to Harrison Bay this week. I have never fished Chickamauga, but hope to give it a try. My questions are, is the area near HB decent fishing? Best technique, spider rigging, long lining, shooting docks? Creeks, main channel, or both? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Send a PM to Kingfish 1. Bob helped me , the first time that I fished the Chic. He fishes that area a lot and i'm sure he will help. He gave me his phone # and his information was great !

Close to harrison Bay is excellent crappie fishing. The bluffs close by are an very early am bite or a Late evening bite. When you come out of HBSP stay within the buoy markers while you are on Lake Chickamauga. Lots of low areas close to HBSP and lots of areas with grass, as long as you stay within channel markers you should be fine. Coming out of HBSP if you make a right and into the main channel back to you left once you pass the markers you can't miss the Harrison Bluffs in the far distance. Great place to start. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice. I at least know where to start! I have heard good things about Chickamauga, just never have taken the time to go. We are really looking forward to a little road trip!

If you view this post, it would appear that I got very little advice. That is absolutely not so! My PM box is armed with info that is above and beyond what I could have ever got on my own! I want to thank you publicly, already have privately, for all of the advice. This is a great site with many classy, unselfish people!!
