Went out and managed a couple good ones last night. 67lb and 34lb. Three bites. Lost one big one. Blue gills. 2 came straight down at 17 ft. Little one came on a slack line off the back. Attachment 213731

Looks like a lot of fun!
Actually it was a lot of fun. Fishing with 17lb mono. Big fish came around 1am. 45 minute fight, covered about 1/2 mile. Spent probably 10 minutes running down lake with the fish at 1.5 mph fish running bout 15 feet down right next to the boat. Went under the boat 5 or 6 times shallow. Hooked it in about 34 fow. At one point had it over in 7fow. But kept going under the boat and pulled it back into 15fow where we landed it with the big net. On the hook up it just left. Ran about 40 over a channel and then just hung. Fish dug deep, came up shallow couple times. Never gave up. Had big splashing at the boat
Great show. Lots of fun. Nice break from wiper fishing. Bout 41 inches worth. It was big fun.
Looks great what lake was that? I love blue cat fishing. Do it mainly for the trophys, wife gets frustrated with me cause I always throwing the big ones back
