I've been following this too: Authorities search for Cary man missing at Jordan Lake :: WRAL.com
Thoughts and prayers are with the rescuers and the family and friends of this man that is lost.
We were there on Thursday when they shut the ramps down. Had a chance to talk with a number of rescue personnel and some from the wildlife. I feel for the family of the guy that died, but I have to ask the question why would a 69 year old man be out kayaking alone and why no life jacket. We all know how important it is to have a healthy respect for the water.
Jordanlimit, truly stated. Water & wind two of the most awesome creations of our GOD...they demand respect. Prayers for his family. :~(G
