Anyone have a problem with city services like I do?
Garbage is picked up once a week every week. I have enough garbage for once per month pick up. I recycle a lot.
Trash is maybe picked up once a month. If they don't get it all I'll rake it up into a new pile. If I add to it they only get the new stuff. I'm left with a pile of the older stuff with grass growing in it. I could burn the trash a lot easier.
Firetruck, I guess only when someone reports brown water. The road got paved a few years ago so it isn't a washout like it use to be. Still a single lane road.
Police car, the last I saw here was about 7 years ago. He thought this was someone's driveway, no it's a road.
Lander Center to Airways on events. We know that police cars are out. Can't they turn on a single blue light instead of a sea of blinkie lights that you can see around going at 2 mph?

It would be great if the city had contacts with email instead of phone calls. I've called and nothing has been done in 3 years.

This is Kristi Faulkner's phone number. She is the Mayor's executive asst. I didn't find an email for the mayor in the directory. My suggestion would be to start here. If you can get the mayors attention things will change if possible. Also, I would think you have an alderman, bend their ear as well.

I called last month when the city's bush hog left a big hole on the edge of the road. I had to correct myself and call it a lawn mower to the young lady I talked with. Said she would pass it to the proper person with my phone number. No return call yet and still a big hole on the side of the road.
I'll call the county in the morning.
