Mermentau River 8-18-15

8-18-15--Went out today 8-18-15 and was able to pick up and keep 41.Some on the small size due to hook swallowers.Had 30 good keepers and left due to rain.Third week was able to get a day in for fishing at the Mermentau.All were productive days with catches in the 30+ range and today was best day yet with numbers and size.Sorry no pictures due to camera on blink and pics had daughter take ,well per Autumn-(daughter) I don't know where they went,thought I put them on your facebook page.LOL.So today I am going out to get new camera.Oh and Mermentau,glad you are ok and accidently started my thread in reply column on your thread.So hope everyone has a BLESSED DAY and can get back on water after these rains pass and get back to sucking em up.:fish

@ MacCrappieDad, I'm thinking you might be using shiners, as all those catching way better than me seem to be. Glad to see you had 3 good trips. If you see me up there wave me down. I've got a short boat with a 25 Tohatsu and have a camo broad brimmed hat. Ugly on the move.

Yes I am like prefers shiners and was using shiners.Will be on lookout for you next time out.I am in blue and white skeeter with 115 4-stroke Suzuki

I met a guy fishing 3 poles kind of like spider rig and talked to him in a similar boat. That wasn't you was it?

Hell might have been.Had three rods out in front of boat.Were you the guy fishing with jig in oxbow.
