Owen County Farm Pond

My girlfriend has a couple farm ponds that haven't been fished much in recent years and I went over there a while back with the chainsaw and weedeater to make some bank fishing spots. Fished it earlier this month and the one little pond in the woods is a crappie honey hole! Pulled several nice 'n thick specks out of there on small spinner baits and roadrunners.

My friend is more of a bait fisherman and she pulled some nice gills out of there too.

They were still biting after dark but the bugs were biting worse.

Thanks. No, I live and grew up about 10 miles away in NW Greene County.
