The kinda day ya dream of :)
On Wednesday BadBrad and I got to go out and fish Lake Malone, not a lake that I consider chocked full of crappie but wanted to see some modern day electronics in action. We got there around 6:00, 6:30 and got schooled for a half hour on down image, sonar, and maps. We then made a short run (at the speed Brad was runnin, I held onto my hearing aids) we made it to an area that held 12'-15' an in the amount of time it takes to fillet a slab, I had one on. The best day I ever had pullin them cranks. Mostly sunny, high was about 80, light winds, a little overcast, and a light breeze. I doubt we had a twenty minute period without a fish and several times with multiple fish.Itwas a Great day, an thanks Buffalo13 for those cranks. We kept switching them out so as not to bore the fish and have them shut down. I'd told Brad how I'd just ordered some C55s and look what came in the mail today:yikes! These came from China in less than a week for buck for shipping. I ordered something from St Louis and it took ten days and $9.95 to ship. Go figure?
