Quick fix for broken rid tip.
Recently I broke one of my trolling rod tips and forgot about it until I was ready to go again. So I applied this quick fix and it worked great. The break was fairly clean and not splintered significantly. Having a few other broken rod tips I found a section that I thought I could cut, with a Drimmel cut off wheel, a piece from that would slide over the two broken ends reasonably well. After sanding the two broken ends I applied some epoxy, slipped the piece over the ends, and left overnight. The piece I cut had a eyelet on it so I just left it. It worked as good as new and no plans to buy another one. Just an idea that might help someone in a bind.Attachment 211481
Quick fix for broken rid tip.
I have one now I used the tip glue on. Every time it gets hot, the tip rolls around on the rod. I'm gonna try some kind of super glue on it if I can get the other stuff off of it.
