Just wondering if it's just me....used to be able to find a few fish at Eldorado but the past 5 trips I can't find any! Had any one else had better luck? It's getting frustrating to say the least.

I have been over to El Do about 3 times in the last two weeks and it has been very slow for me also. In three trips I have 2 or 3 short walleye and 5 or 6 wipers. I have seen the wipers hitting top water about an hour before dark. They would come up but only for 15 or 20 seconds and then they were gone. I wonder if all the high water this summer has got them fat and happy.
Eldorado fish are lost and confused. Been rough lately for me as well. Talked to a few others who know it better then I do and they report the same thing on crappie, walleye, even white bass. Hoping it changes soon.
All I have heard is reports like the basically everywhere but Melvern. I'm waiting for mid September then I'll start hauling the tub around.
it's kicking our rear as well. I can mark a few fish but not many, when we stop and spoon on them we might catch 1 or 2 wipers then nada. sometimes we will mark a lot of bait, come back an hour later and it's basically barren, no white perch or anything. weirdest thing I've seen in long time and as tough as I've seen Eldorado in a long time.
we tried dropping lights after dark a couple weeks ago and never caught one single fish. places that were loaded with baitfish and wipers busting the top 15 minutes before dark went void of fish. I figured we would have to fight whiteperch all night long coming to those lights (4 of them) and we never got a single bite on minnows or lures either one. Frustrating to say the least. How are the whitebass doing? seems all we catch are white perch or wipers?
Going to go give it a try after work. Work some trees then go set up under lights on brush pile after dark. Surely they have to eat so time. If not atleast enjoy the 60 degree evening.
:twocents I think you guys are fishing too deep.
I wish that was the case. Fish from 2ft -12 ft mostly. Can't get that Truman shallow water bite out of my head.
well gave Eldorado a shot Friday night after work still about midnight. Shortdraw and I at least caught a few fish. Most of the fish came in the 5 minute window as the sun was going down.
Not best night of catching but a good night of fishing. Cleaned enough at least to feed shortdraw. Biggest was 14 most was 10.
