Ok I tried the candle thing did not work for me so I got a heat gun !!
I need to Know what temp should it be on for a 1/4 oz jigg ??

If it's a dual heat I run 4-5 count each side on low and 2-3 on high. Just remember that can change if you're using harder lead +/- 1-2 and heavier powders such as white, black and brown might take a bit more to melt on right.
I've had mine for 3 yrs. now and every now and then I'll melt one off. Once you really get going with it you'll get it down no problem.
I've had mine about 2 years (wagner pro model) and I still melt the occasional one every now and then. I do a couple thousand 3/4 and 1 oz jigs per year with it and it still runs strong. You will get the hang of it and pretty soon you won't even count. Of course, you will at times find yourself staring at the wall, look down and have a pool of lead on the table... but that is part of the fun!
