Special Thanks to Gobbler for Putting on a Summer Crappie Tournament Series

Wanted to say a special thanks to Kevin (Gobbler) for his effort in putting together a summer tournament series. I have never targeted crappie during the daytime in mid-summer, so it has been a good learning experience. Had a couple of first-timers today and was nice meeting and chatting.

I know a lot of you guys like to night fish, but I am a morning guy and would rather be up at 4:00 and on the water at 5:30 any day of the week. Saw the moon setting over the trees and took a picture. Turned around and then took a picture of the sun coming up. I love daybreak on the water.

it was a purdy morning, wish the crappie had been more cooperative, they may have bit good then but we were to busy admiring the scenery, lol.
