Any luck at LOZ?
The weekend is UPON us!!! Heading down to LOZ and while my days will be filled sun and tubing to keep the kiddos entertained, I am hoping to sneak away in the shadows of the night and wet a line for some Crappie. I'll just be fishing from the dock, but hopefully can get into them. I'll be chucking jigs at them (unless I can find a nearby shop to get some minners). Let me know if you've had some luck! Have a great weekend. ~Zac

Just spoke to a good crappie fisher that lives on Niangua arm. Says very tough at night (from a boat) due to debris. Apparently during the day the heavy traffic waves move the debris to the bank. Then, at night, it floats back out as they are stilling pulling a lot of water thru the dam. He said it was idle speed only.. If you are just dock fishing should not be a major problem. IF you have at least 15 ft, brush and lights on the dock you should have some good luck.. minnows were doing good but he also caught fish on double rigging 1/32 oz black or black and pink tube jigs tipped with nibbles.

was just there. our dock was in 10 ft of water and even with an underwater light i caught nothing for 7 days. i had to get out in the boat in 25 fow about 12' deep and was pulling crank baits and caught some.
