Well I was putting the Wicked Crappie boat in this morn and 2 guys with a bobcat were there.
First they pulled sand out of the ramps, then put up 2 concrete barriers at the Allison ramp.

Won't be long and they will be closed as soon as the sand get back in them. I would have thought the other two would be open but they are shallower than the first two.:popcorn
whats the sand got to do with it?
Builds up on top of ramp and bogs your tires down, you have to go farther back to get your boat in the water. You must not have used when sand was in there. Most people avoid them. Some times people get stuck there in the sand with long trailers.:highfive.
Pontoon guys will really have a hard time in the first slot because of the sand washing in from the waves off of the sand bank right beside the ramp. All those wakes everyone complains about and fast approaches into the ramp keeps it washed up in there. The second one will fill up to but not as bad due to the first one blocking it some what. If the water get lower only kayakers will use the ramps. :popcorn
It appears that the White Perch are smarter then you give them credit for. Sensing their demise in the making, they decided to pull the plug on the lake to prevent you guys from getting to them.

Wait until these guys push that sand back in there. Hearld said they make waves like in the ocean. Land owners probably won't like this with no wake zones. The ski club already has a few people mad with them going by the fishermen with big waves. :banghead I hope it don't go over so well because it will be rough out there holding on to the side rails. They don't go by just once they have to turn around and come by again.
Wakesurfing event coming to region
Wakesurfing competition planned Sept. 12 Riders perform tricks on perpetual waves Event also promotes the lake and Tega Cay
These issues about the ramps would not be a problem if you guy's would all just invest in a good GM product to pull your boats with:ThumbsUp:ThumbsUp
4x4 of course!
