Kentucky Pay It Forward Fall Crappie Camp!!!

Ok Crappie Fishermen and Fisherwomen....This is gonna be a good one! This years Kentucky Crappie Camp for the fall is going to be a little different but I promise you that you won't want to miss it! November 6th and 7th will be the dates of the "Kentucky Pay it Forward Crappie Camp". The tournament will be held on Friday November 6th (more details to come on take off times and weigh in times) and the "Pay It Forward Crappie Camp" will be held at Mike Miller Park in Benton, Kentucky on November the 7th. What is different this year is that we plan on putting on several "seminars" from local crappie fisherman and conservationist in the Kentucky Lake area. These seminars will be anything from pulling cranks to building crappie beds to spider rigging to long lining to biologist reports and helpful game warden information, etc. The camp is going to be centered around EDUCATION and SHARING of information for the serious crappie fisherman. Like I said guys and gals........it will be worth attending for sure! We plan on having an early afternoon fish fry on November 7th and then the friendship and sharing seminars will begin. We do have the park reserve for both the 6th and the 7th so there may be a meet and greet on the 6th after the tournament.....more to come on that. The accommodations will be good for rain or shine and they even have a fire place for gathering in the evening. From the mouth of the great Buffalo13....... here is more details of the events to come. Thanks Dean!

"We were in agreement that the is a vast bit of knowledge out there from the members that can be shared, so this year we thought about Paying It Forward, Sharing information and things we all have learned or have been given over the years.
We will be having a FJ Tourney on Friday Nov 6th from 7am-3pm with weigh-in by 4pm. We will go by the Ky FJ Rules.
Later that evening we will be enjoying some of Whiskers famous deer chili. With a meet and great.
On Saturday Nov 7 we will be eating at 12 noon. Following the meal we will pitch in an clean up real quick and start with the discussions. Bed Building, Spider Rigging set up, 2 poling, Long lining, Pulling Cranks, Electronics, Jig Pouring, and more to be added.
Also there will be a table for anyone wanting to bring items you may want to sell. (electronics, poles, trolling motors) This will be a good chance to move some stuff.
We are looking forward to seeing each and everyone there because everyone has something to add.
There is so much knowledge out there about this great sport, lets pass it on to others."

If Whiskers has the chili I will have the SOFT drinks for Friday night .& Sat. Also

Fish fry will be 12 noon on Saturday
Tea and lemonade will be provided
We need to start a list for food
I will have the fryers and the oil
Any side dish you would like to share would be great and we will also need paper products and the likes

Thinking I might come down and would probably just be me. Would I be crashing if I came for the social and seminars? I am heading out for 3 day weekend this weekend and did 4 days 2 weeks ago. My wife would likely disown me if I did another weekend trip with the boat so soon after. But the info line up looks grand I love getting down to fish in that area at least 1-2 times a year, more if I can.
