Anybody know if dock is underwater????Need it to launch when fishing by myself.:pray
I heard the water is up about a foot or so. Dock is usable . Ill drive by this afternoon and check for sure. I live about 5 minutes from the ramp. Why in the world would you want to fish that little mud hole. I have not been on it in 10 years.lol
I reply back if its different than what I was told. Use caution on that lake. Need any advise let me know.
Brad
The water is up about 3 to 3.5 foot. Not muddy but a heavy stain. The dock floats but someone has put something like pallets to get to the dock. Id still use the north side of the dock. Not sure how far you'll have to back up to launch. 4 trailers were in the parking area. Have fun, and Id still use caution if you dont know where you are going.
Dont know a thing about the place, what I have read seems like a little potential just trying different places.Been in IN about 8mo.Been informed that is the 1 and only ramp???
No there is another ramp at Greentown but you have to buy a key to access the area, so saying thats a private ramp. You shouldn't have problem driving around to the first bridge as high as the water is. Out in front of the park down by the bridge, the mud flat comes out to about the middle of the lake. It does have boulders on it. After the water goes back down you better know where you are going past the first bridge. After the water gets back to normal, get back with me and I'll let you know how the channel runs all the way to Greentown.. That thing looks like a snake. Even with the high water, you can still get in trouble past the first bridge.
Thx for info:ThumbsUp
Even with high water lots of stumps I recommend you go slow
slow it would be------I am a troller
The parks Dept was building a ramp to get on the dock on Monday. Water looks pretty good now. Let us know how you do
was there a rash of tickets given out to bass fishermen there, this year? there was a thread on the net somewhere about them cracking down on people keeping under size fish, a while back. havent heard anything about it since.
Nothing I'm aware of. If so, it was people on the banks getting tickets..
