Brewer Crappie/Advice
Hey guys I'm new to the forum and looking to learn a bit more about crappie fishing. I currently have spider rig on order and will be running 12-14ft rods. What size weight do you normally use to keep the jigs down? and has anyone been catching them on Brewer, hoping to get out there this week.

3/8 to 1oz egg sinker, depending on wind and boat speed. I typically go as light as the conditions will allow.
My best advice for Brewer: Go to Nimrod........You're welcome.

There are better people on here to answer your questions than me such as Cmj. But I wanted to say welcome to the forum from Batesville just the same.

He's pretty much on. I use 1/2 and 3/4 oz to keep mine where I want them.

And welcome from the northeast corner of the state.

Welcome from Sherwood. We use 1/2 and 1 oz bell sinkers. I agree . Go to Nimrod!. Netter to drive extra and catch more fish in a shorter time. Especially when its hot. Lol can't figure an ac for my boat.

Thanks guys! I'm excited about the setup and getting out there! Once everything is setup I wouldn't mind taking some out to receive some pointers! I'm staying Jacksonville but I'm from VA!
