Good for him, excellent. The USGS Wetlands Center at UL Lafayette might work. Best if he goes in person, gets past the receptionist somehow, and meet someone face to face. The key is to be aggressive. My daughter is a degreed Chemist, and the son a degreed Mechanical Engineer. Both doing extremely well, told them the same about being aggressive many years ago. Just a thought.
Also, due to the oil and gas industry right now in a slump, has effected everyone. Even those in his field. It will turn around. Something else might come to me, if so I'll let you know.
I know y'all are proud. Congrats to him and good luck with the job search.
Has he check DEQ or the Feds?
Railroads utilize Environmental Engineers too. Excellent pay and benefits. Worth the effort.
