I love those things. My mom and dad and me try to grow them every year. They put out like crazy!
You can cook them down with onions and bacon just like you would regular green beans. My mom always liked to pick hers before they got too fat because she said the younger ones are much more tender.

I haven't either, look good. Sure are skinny though, wonder how they cook down.
We are thrilled to have em and plan to pick again tomorrow. Tod said they love to put them on the pit and agreed they are better if ya pick em when they are smaller . We left some on purpose to get bigger so will have both types to try tomorrow.
Do they have an asparagus flavor?
We plan to pick another batch today and will let ya know the only thing we have done with them so far is chop them in small pieces and eat the smaller ones in salad. They are reported to have an asparagus taste but if they do its mild.
