Badin 7/2

Ron and I fished Badin early Thursday morning, been itching to go but the boat's been in the shop. While on the way to our first spot I marked two nice pockets of fish. We fished our first spot and picked up 1 keeper. I wasn't marking much so I decided to go back to the other two spots. We stayed on one spot until 10:00 AM. Fished minnows about 20 feet deep. Kept a double limit. Only had 10 or so throwbacks. All fish were from 9 1/2" to 13 1/2" Attachment 208177

Sounds like a good trip to me. I love fishing Badin. The water is much cleaner than High Rock.

I have got to learn how to use the electronics on the boat. My wife and I have been trying to fish Badin for a year now, and so far we have kept a grand total of 9 fish. All 9 came after 8 hours of night fishing on the old Whitney side of the lake two weeks ago.
