Went with Lee and found some in the trees and we also found an algae bloom above the little bull bridge but the fish didn't seem to mind.We caught lots of smalls in the 12-14 ft. depth and moved below the bridge and found fish on almost every tree we tried and the algae wasn't as bad the further up the lake we went. Tues. we tried the big bull arm and found good looking water but fewer biting fish...we noticed there weren't as many shad schools as there were in the little bull so that's probably the reason for the slower fishing. We kept 8 crappies both days up to 13 1/2in. With other reports from Clinton coming in it's a safe bet to say the "summer shallow slab" pattern has started....and none too soon!Attachment 207924Attachment 207925 Lees best side:biggrin Attachment 207926 the algae was as thick as pea soup and you could smell it too:puke Attachment 207927 Waiting for a fish and Lee did feed him:ThumbsUp
