I was fishing for halibut, but caught a few sculpin instead.
That Sockeye looks like a king salmon. Any of those fish etible

Sockeye is very tasty. Sculpin is OK, they are considered "garbage" fish. We consider King Salmon that size a "Jack Salmon"..... juvenile salmon. Average size is about 25lbs for a King. The sockeye/red salmon is about 5lbs. Average is about 8-10 lbs.Quote:
