Hitting Edisto river.
We hit river at 630 fished for couple hour s up river. I forgot how fun it is to be on river. We fished in 2 man sneak boat . We caught 18 redbreasts an several bass with a couple of jack fish . Most where caught on black spin bait and couple off of small rebel plug. the fish where near grass on river points. I can not wait to hit river again and no water lice to be seen.

Boy the redbreast in the Edisto are some of the prettiest fish you will find. I fished it years ago and the bass we caught were really dark and the colors really popped. Where did you put in? I went with a friend who lived in O'burg and we out in at the Gardens on 301 but there are some landings up river, just was not sure how safe they are to leave a car.
Should never have sold my Sneak boat, kick myself for selling it.
Sniff Sniff!

That's a pretty fish indeed.I use to fish for them in the upper reaches of Lynches river where I live. Some of them wouldn't be mabey three inches long but would have the pretty colors,,.It has been many years since I've been. Thanks for posting a report and the picture

Those are some beautiful fish. I remember a few years back seeing pics somewhere on these boards of coolers full of all kinds of colorful bream. Not even sure which state board I saw them on but it always amazes me seeing such pretty fish, especially when the cooler's running over with 'em. Congrats on the catch and thanks for posting them.:)
