This is an excellant fishery east of Lake Wales with 7, 532 acres stained water.
Average depth of 7 1/2 ft with 5 brush pile markers (attractors) avail.
Excellant bass population as well as Crappie - Blue-gill & Shellcracker are available
Looks like those are fixing to be scaled. You fry them whole?
I always filet, but you loose a lot of flavor that way. I love the taste with the skin left on. I've seen them scaled and filleted, but with skin left on. I have to try it that way myself some time.Quote:

I filet most of them. The smaller ones I leave whole.. I Like to scale and leave the skin on when I fillet.. Seems to keep the flavor in..Occasionally I get lazy and just fillet them but that's not the norm..Quote:
