Wateree 6/26

Went catfishing last night, there was the tail end of mayfly hatch so bait was easy to get. Even caught a little 8" white bass in the net which was nice to see. Fished 9PM - 3AM. It was pretty slow, kept about 6 cats from 2-4 lbs and one 7 lb. Couple of fat channels 2.5 lbs, the rest were blues. Did not catch a bullhead all night, guess they're laying or something.

Most fish were on floated live bait but dad got the 7 on 3/4 a big white perch with a few slices down him.

The Mayfly hatch is a hard time to fish because of them getting all over everything!! Thanks for the report, enjoyed reading it.
