last week
man its been so hot i aint been fishing since last tuesday (6-9) - its killing me but time i get done working in this heat all i want to see is my 68 deg basement! lol! me & a buddy got out last tue from lunch till bout 6 and got in em pretty good- probly caught 60 plus crappies outa which we kept 20 nice ones, all 10"-14" - plus a bonus of some white perch, white bass, a 2 lb channel and a 8 lb and 10 lb blue cats! them blues was fun on them crappie rigs! we fished main lake brush piles from 8-10 fow to 20-25 fow and main lake rock piles- the rocks were hot, the best crappies and the cats came off of them- water was pretty warm mostly round 80 deg, kinda stained at buffalo but had green water by the time we got past clarksville- 1/16 oz pink head with bobby garland blue ice still the ticket- my daughters are coming home today for fathers day, if they can stand the heat gona try & put em on some crappies tomorrow....:biggrin

Great report and nice picture. I think I like eating those perch more than I do the crappie. Bite sure has been hot at Buggs all over. I really don't fish the main lake to often, guess I need to go out and do some exploring on Friday's before the weekend boaters get there. Stay cool.

yea roy the main lake is pretty much a week day thing- done it on a few sat or sundays but the pleasure crowd can make it tuff by lunchtime- getting ready to take the mom & the kids on the buffalo - clarksville loop right now- hope to have something to post when we get back!
