6-7-15 Normandy report
Jerry and I launched from Barton Springs at 6am with partly cloudy skies, air temp around 72 and water temp around 78. Fished till about 12:30. We were looking for new spots in open water. Caught a few small crappie and some nice bass. It is funny that when I use to bass fish I would mostly fish the banks but have been catching more of them then crappie in open water. Not catching to many we decided to hit the shorelines and managed to pick up 6 or7 with only 4 keepers. It got hot around noon. About 90 degrees and the lake was starting to fill up with pleasure boaters so we left. Still good to get out and explore a little. good fishing everyone.

Always good to do some scouting. Hope you found some good spots to fish.

I need some more time on Normandy. When I lived in Manchester it was closer and I spent a lot more time on it. Glad you got out Dave, we'll go one day soon.

Normandy has fish still in it, but no where near the numbers taken now that I seen a few years ago such as in 2012. We always had good outtings that year after dark for sure. Thanks for the report Dave.
