Crappie fishin in Lake Cumberland

I haven't been for two weeks,was wandering if anything has changed? I fish in the upper end of fishing creek. Has anyone been having good catches?

I haven't been in a couple weeks either. Was planning a trip tonight. Last couple night trips we took we didn't get any shad in under our lights. I've never had that problem before and we do a lot of night fishing. You ever heard of any thing like that?

I have seen that several times at cumberland...until i stopped using the green lights

Thanks...We use white lights. Just a weird thing. Went out last Sunday and had more shad than I've ever seen. Crappie started feeding around 1:00am. Had a good night. Brought home around 25

I went this past Friday morning. Upper end of Fishing Creek. Estimated that I caught around 75 crappie eight feet deep around the trees, but most of them wouldn't make 10 inches. Onlyi had 6 really nice ones. All on jigs. I've been having better luck fishing at night. Last Tuesday night I caught 27 good ones 25 ft deep in 42 ft of water. I always use green lights and the shad flock to them. In fact, last Tuesday night it was more around the lights than I've ever seen. Have never had any trouble attracting shad to green lights. Used to use white all the time, now I only use green.
